In His Light

It is a very simple thing to give your life to God.  All you need to do is acknowledge and accept what is given to us.  God sent His only Son so that who so ever parish will have everlasting life.  Read John 3:16.  That is all you need to do, accept and acknowledge.  Go to God and acknowledge that He sent His Son to die for your sins, and accept that He is God.  Ask God to forgive you of your sins and trust Him to show you the way.  There is no set way to ask for this.  You must have your own conversation with God.  You are already saved!!!  Hmmmmmm.  That is right, you are already saved, but you have to accept it and acknowledge it.  Jesus was crucified to save us.  The only way to get into Heaven and have eternal life is to accept and acknowledge Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.  A sample prayer could be "God I acknowledge that You sent Your only Son to be crucified on the cross for me.  I accept that He is my Savior and that I must be cleansed by His blood.  Come into my heart Lord and forgive me of my sins.  Help me to live a Christian life and follow your directions".  But as I said you have to have the conversation with God, no one else can do this for you.  No one is turned away, the room is never full.  God has room for all of us in His kingdom. 

 

The road ahead may not be an easy one.  But if you have God as your navigator it will definitely be smoother.  With lifes trials and tribulations you will be able to deal with things much easier.  Because you have God in your heart you will know that you can turn everything over to Him.  He will be right beside you when your mother dies, when that car wreck happens, when the money quits coming in or doesn't stretch far enough.  He will be there.  Your best friend with His arm around your shoulder, a shoulder to cry on, Someone to dry your tears and ease the pain in your heart.  There may be many hills on your road, but the Navigator can handle anything, and that is what we have to remember.
